Boys Anti Tank Rifle

This Boys .50 rifle is a beautiful collectors piece. Originally designed as an anti-tank rifle, it has been converted from the original British .55 to the easy to find and economical US .50, using a modified US M2 machine gun barrel. The rifle is in excellent overall condition, with only the rubber recoil pad needing to be recovered with leather. Nicknamed Charlie the Bastard by Australian troops, for its weight and recoil, it is a living piece of military history. This bolt action system is inherently more accurate than the semi automatic action used in many more modern rifles. Comes ready to shoot in competition or just for fun, complete with three original .55 caliber 5 round magazines, modified to use US .50 caliber.
