1928 ARGENTINE BROWNING MACHINEGUN
1928 ARGENTINE BROWNING MACHINEGUN

This exquisite belt fed machinegun was made by a meticulous
machinist in Colorado using an Ohio Ordnance registered sideplate and the parts from a 1928 Argentine machinegun. As you can see from the pictures, every detail of its assembly was carefully performed including polishing and bluing each external part, creating an example that deserves to be the centerpiece of your den or living room. Differing from standard Argentine machineguns, this example has an original 1917A1 Browning tripod, uses a 1917 Browning style barrel gland and fires readily-available 7.62 X 51mm ammunition. Yes, this striking specimen of early machinegun technology fires modern 7.62 NATO ammunition! It accepts either metal links or cloth belts. Included with this fine machinegun is an original US wooden ammunition box that fits the tripod, original US steam hose and steam condensing can, the original Argentinian flash suppressor and a rare US WWI “can” style flash suppressor, plus barrels allowing it to be fired in 30-06 and 8MM Mauser (7.92 X 57); ALL THIS FOR $26,000.
